Dean & Aly
There was certainly a surprised look on her face as he guessed her name right, but it was quickly followed by an embarrassed smile and nod of her head. "Oh yes, that's me." Merlin, she hoped he didn't know her from the Maiden Head. They were few and far between, but it would honestly be nice if someone she met, for once, hadn't seen her at some point without her clothes on.
"You know Ernie, right? I'm so sorry, I don't know your name." That was the best she could do, if only because she was usually caught up in work whenever someone came around for a visit. She had a bad habit of not paying much attention outside of what needed to get done. It was a coping mechanism she had come up with while at work. Just keep her eyes on the job at hand, and think about nothing else. The music. The metal in front of her. That way, no one's beady eyes would melt her...
Dean's voice drew her back, that same smile still on her features as she nodded in agreement. "You're right. Friends. Family. All safe. Having fun..." It was such a nice feeling, though it always felt so brief. "I'm doing alright myself. It's a nice night, people were more than generous with the food and drink. Though if I'm being honest with you, it almost doesn't seem real. Or maybe I seem out of place. I don't usually get many nights off to enjoy something like this." Even now, all she could think about was how she wasn't making money for her and Emy. But she hadn't been scheduled, and Aly was never one to cause a ruckus.
