Dean & Aly
Dean's face lit up a little bit more. It wasn't often he got to talk about footie any more. He'd long stopped trying to track down scores or figure out what was going on where. His time and efforts were better put elsewhere, especially, when there was little to nothing he could do about it. "That's brill. Even if it was Manchester." he was clearly just teasing her. A few years ago that might have mattered, but not so much any more. "You should come by and play with the kids sometime." he said watching her face and wondering what was going on in her head at that moment. Must have been something, but what, Dean couldn't begin to say. "Usually a good cure for most things most days, yeah?" he added stopping himself from shrugging once again. Dean simply offered it because it was fun, and really, he thought it would do people some good to spend time doing things like that. Hell, he'd dragged his friends along more than once.
"Be right back then." Dean set down his plate and took both his cup as well as Aly's and returned before too much longer. Thankfully, no one was really around to stall him. He was having a nice chat, and he didn't want to lose that groove that stopping sometimes brought on. "There's good old fashioned, and then there's let it die already old fashioned. That...is defiantly on the good side." he said thoughtfully after a moment and taking a swig from his cup. "Maybe. I mean really, it could be rather selfish, because maybe I just need some playmates who can keep up with me." he joked, clearly, not serious. Everyone knew who his best friend was and Dean had trouble keeping up with him some days. And that was not a complaint what so ever.
