Neville had habits that were settled and true. Most days he left the cottage around dusk in order to go take things that he'd offered to send to folks off to be, well, sent. On this Friday, however, he did that, but instead of apparating straight back to the cottage after, he made a series of hops until he was walking up into the hills of Yorkshire. It was hardly the first time he'd gone out there. Plants dotted the hillsides (and were eaten by sheep, except for the few things the sheep had learned better than to ingest) and he'd go out with a basket, as he had now, to collect samples. And that's how he began his trek, just as usual, paying more attention to his task than to his surroundings. He hoped that if anyone ever bothered to watch him, they were thoroughly bored by his mundane activities.
In the end, though, he had to catch up with Luna, food for them to share (most of which he intended to give to her) buried at the bottom of his basket. When he spotted her, he called in a low whisper, "Luna," just as he approached.
