OPEN THREAD.
Date: January 16th, 2004
Character(s): Harry Potter & OPEN
Location: Some wizarding pub in London.
Status: OPEN TO ALL.
Summary: After-work-drinks! Fun for all!
Completion: Incomplete.
The place was crowded, so Harry had to worm his way through the door, through the crowd to reach the bar. Like every Friday, people would go out for a drink with colleagues and/or friends. Harry was no different. He was more than glad to be out of his stuffy office and off for the weekend. For Merlin's sake, he hoped he didn't have to come in during the weekend. Surely, they could hold the fort 'till Monday morning, right?
The music in the background was turned down, but the bass could still be felt throughout the room. He figured later into the night, people would shove the tables to the back of the room and enjoy a little dancing. As usual. Ever since Harry started coming here on Fridays, it always went the same way, and the familiar faces were here once again. He found he didn't mind. He'd had enough excitement in his life so far, so he could definitely get used to regular patterns of the after-work-parties in London.
He managed to reach the bar, already having shrugged off half of his cloak; caught the eye of the bartender and tapped the counter once. It only took a minute for his ale to arrive and he happily lifted the glass to his lips. Of course, that moment, someone chose to bump into him from behind, spilling half of his beer on the front of his shirt. "Hey!" Harry spluttered - more annoyed about the loss of his beer than his wet shirt - and turned around to find the person responsible.
