Tyler was hesitant about the whole thing. He hadn't missed the network post, or the mysterious ticket that had been in his room. It hadn't been there before he'd gone to sleep, and it unnerved the hell out of him that these people were coming into their rooms at night. The numbers on his ticket had matched, and while he didn't for a moment harbor any hope that there was actually a prize involved, he was too curious not to show up.
He wondered if he was the only one, or if there were others.
Taking the elevator to the tenth floor, he stepped out. The hallway was eerily silent, and he hesitated a moment before starting down toward 1006. It would have amused him if there'd been another floor on the hotel, and a 1408 that they were meeting in. Well, by amused he meant terrified, but it was starting to feel the same here.
Exhaling, he strolled down the hall to the room in question and looked around. There was nothing special about the hall, or the room. No sign on the door or evidence of people in the halls. Curiously, he tried the handle on the door and upon finding it unlocked, pushed it open. Tyler stepped in the room and wondered if he was the first, or the only, or if this was some sort of joke. Or an experiment.
He did notice the table set up though, and he licked his lips. He very suddenly didn't have a good feeling about this, and he wondered if it was too late to get the hell out of Dodge. This ... did not feel at all like any sort of winning lottery, and he turned back to the door before he hesitated. He owed it to the others, didn't he? To stick this out and see what it was all about? He could tell Lily and Jaime and Susan about it, and it might help them plan their escape.
So with a soft sigh, Tyler leaned against the wall, watching the hallway through the open door.
