"I will ... definitely tell you when it's time to dig," she promised Dug. "But I'm pretty sure ..." she paused. "You know what? you could ask Lily if she needs holes dug for the trees we're dragging over. Small holes though. We don't want them to fall over." They needed holes, right? To get them in deep enough? She thought that was the plan, but it wasn't like she had a degree in construction or anything.
"We're not going to live there," Jaime assured him. "we're just ... going to have meetings there."
She hefted up her end of the tree, rather pleased at the extra lightness as she started to haul it back toward the fire. She sort of wanted to do some dance where she made faces and or wiggled her butt at the camera, and if she'd known exactly where the camera was, she would've done just that.
As it was, it seemed to be enough to just ... do this. To build, to defy.
