Chase, Faye, Open
Faye's main concern was the costume contest she'd read about on the network, though a party sounded like fun as well. (And why would she choose not to admire the decorations she'd helped put up?) She kind of hoped Spike would show up in a costume - if he showed up at all - just so she could take pictures and tease him for weeks to come; but she was prepared to have a good time even if she didn't get to humiliate someone. Not that she was one to talk when it came to costume choice.
She was a nun. Not the traditional, realistic kind of nun, either: the dress was long-sleeved but short-hemmed with lacing running along each side and fishnet stockings had somehow become a part of the look. Really, if not for the headgear, she'd be nothing more than a woman in a black-and-white dress. But she still had more skin covered than usual, so she figured that counted and really didn't care about realism at a costume party.
When she sauntered into the lobby - inappropriate as such posture might be for a 'nun' - Faye noticed that there weren't quite as many people as she'd have hoped to see. Some were in costumes, some weren't, and she felt just a bit like she'd arrived too early. Even so, she wasn't keen on going back to her room now that she was here. Instead, she wandered for a bit, eventually finding her way to one of the party-goers who were dressed normally. He looked vaguely familiar, so she 'knew' he wasn't a fresh arrival, but she couldn't place a name with the face just yet.
"Nice costume," she teased, watching him with a playful sort of smile.
