Jake, Oy, open
Jake wasn't certain he was really in a Halloween type mood. He'd seen some wolf masks in the store that had made him edgy, the holiday not withstanding. There was too much by way of coincidence here, and he didn't like it. He found himself looking for nineteen everywhere, wondering if they were (somehow, though he couldn't see how) breaking the Beam even here. It wasn't likely, and he doubted it, but he couldn't tell.
He hadn't dressed up, but he hadn't thought costumes were required for the party, either. Oy was padding along beside him, sniffing around curiously. "Ake," the bumbler said softly before he glanced to where Lily, Reid, and Lee were.
"Yeah," Jake agreed before he bent down to scoop the bumbler up into his arms. Oy licked his cheek and whined a little before swinging his head around to look at the slowly gathering crowd. He ruffled the bumbler's fur before setting him down again in case he wanted to wander off and see some of his own friends.
