RP: Silence is Golden Characters: Lily, Dave, Balthazar Time/Date: Near dark, October 24 Location: In the jungle, the mighty jungle, somewhere behind hotel ... Warnings/Rating: None? Summary: Lily, Balthazar, and Dave go to silence some plants Status: complete
Dave had made some attempts at excuses, but Lily threatened to bind him down if he actually wandered off. It wasn't as though she and Balthazar were headed out to the jungle to shag; she had a mission in mind and she'd appreciate the extra company. She'd even hunted down another set of earplugs in case the mandrakes were farther enough along to be a threat. They wouldn't kill if they were still infantile, but ... there was no sense in anyone passing out, either.
When she saw Balthazar crossing the lobby toward them, she smiled and waved, and of course greeted him with a soft kiss. She did keep it chaste for Dave's sake, since he was looking away and staring toward the ceiling. It really was kind of amusing, and she didn't honestly think they truly made him uncomfortable.
He just liked to play, surely.
"We're going out to silence some mandrakes," she informed Balthazar, since he didn't actually know why they were headed out. She offered him the earplugs with a little shrug. "Just in case. Jaime and I found ... a lot of potion-relevant plants out in the jungle and the mandrakes actually do have potential to kill people who wander by once they're mature. I'm not sure if you've ever ..." she made a little gesture. "Encountered them before. If they exist like this on your world."
