RP: Dropping in Characters: Remus, Tyler Time/Date: Oct. 23, evening Location: knocking on Tyler's door Warnings/Rating: None Summary: Remus goes to visit Tyler Status: Complete
Remus was accustomed to feeling like absolute rubbish for the entire day after the full moon. Transforming hadn't been as horrible with the Marauders, but he'd been on his own for months before arriving here and had been back to feeling beaten and broken and checking for possible new self inflicted scars. Today, while he could certainly tell he had transformed and he'd slept rather late, he felt decent enough that he didn't feel compelled to hide in his room and recover by himself. In fact, by late afternoon, he thought about going to visit Tyler and managed to talk himself out of it and back into it until evening rolled around.
While he knew he didn't need an excuse to go visit anyone, he felt awkward about stopping by Tyler's room for no reason. Wanting to talk was a reason, but not a very good one as he didn't even have anything in particular that he wanted to talk about. He was curious how Tyler was settling in, what he thought of the new island, how things were going for him now that the chain of command was back in its proper order.
He supposed those were perfectly decent reasons to visit -- although he could have asked over the network -- but he wasn't very adept at making new friends. He had the whole werewolf affliction to connect him to Tristan and he was already friends with Lily. It would be easy to keep mostly to himself beyond those connections, but instead he decided not to talk himself out of this particular trip.
Heading down the stairs and down the hall, he hesitated briefly outside the other bloke's door before lifting his hand to knock. He might not even be in, but he supposed he would find out.
