RP: Whoa! Characters: Lee Time/Date: Oct. 22, mid-morning (backdated) Location: Third floor, to start with Warnings/Rating: Probably low Summary: Lee wakes up in a new place, again Status: Closed (narrative)
At least there was not deafening loud music this time. Lee did not like the groggy feeling, or the pounding in his head, but when he blinked open his bleary eyes, he ... caught touches of blue and green on the walls, that had not been there before.
Right. They were being moved to the new island, were they not, and apparently this was it.
The air smelled different, as well. Wetter and saltier and ... fresher. As he sat up, he took a deep breath. It almost smelled like home in the Hidden Leaf, but not quite. He pushed himself up to sitting and rubbed his face with his hands. Then he stood and went to the window to push back the curtains, and ... whoa!
Those were trees! Real, actual, live trees!
He had not been this excited in days. They were not large trees, compared to the ones back home. Not even close, but they were trees, and he could not wait to get outside and see how well they stood up to punches and kicks.
Lee pulled on his jumpsuit and sandals quickly, and strapped on his pouches, before tying his forehead protector around his waist. Then he made his way out into the corridor, headache quite forgotten, and toward the stairs.
