"Funnily enough, I don't think a lot of things apply here," Mercy pointed out. This was definitely a place right out of science-fiction or something. Shifting her weight, she leaned against the table to peer into the cauldron curiously before drawing back a bit.
"Not up to it?" Mercy inquired. It was a leading question; she was curious about the circumstances. It was not, however, a prying question, and she was certain if Severus wasn't comfortable discussing it, he'd answer vaguely or flat out tell her it wasn't her business.
"If you wouldn't mind and felt up to it after your potion. I don't want to be a bother. I mean honestly, I can just go stand under the shower massager, but it never quite manages to work as well as a pair of hands." She very nearly continued on to take that to a dirty place, then opted against it.
