"While I suppose I could do that, isn't that just you doing their work for them? If they plan to eventually do away with all of us, why should we help them out?" She paused. "What we should do, is start creating more people. Give us a quarter of a century and we can build a small army here if everyone chips in." She smirked, moderately amused and very, very sincerely kidding about that. There was absolutely no way she was going to give birth here. Who knew what sort of atrocities their captors would perform on a pregnant woman and her fetus. It was disturbing to consider.
She'd tensed slightly, and Iridia's ears flicked back a bit before he nuzzled at her arm, opening his mouth to close his jaw gently on her hand.
Dora smiled softly to the big cat, extracting her hand as he opened his mouth.
Shaking her head at Spike's question, she shrugged gently. "Just some bit of fiction that isn't from my world so I don't understand half the terms used for technology." She'd worked out a lot of them via context (or thought she had, at any rate), but she was still waiting for things like anbaric to show up.
Funny how none of the fiction here had mentions of her sort of daemon. Any demon mentioned was an evil sort.
