Lee made his way to the rec area, arms piled high with all the popcorn, pretzels, chips, jerky, and so on that he could carry. He dropped a few packages along the way back from the gas station, but he had managed to catch them all before they hit the ground.
It reminded him of the time he had challenged himself to catch those twenty leaves before they hit the ground, in order to make Sakura love him. And he would have succeeded, as well, if not for that poor squirrel with the paper bomb attached to its back. But he was grateful the squirrel had happened along, since it led him straight to Sakura when she was in trouble. Even if the Sound shinobi had beaten him to a pulp, he had bought enough time for Sasuke and the others to come and help.
Lee had never been to a movie night, and he was looking forward to it. Now that he would be able to hear the movies. And he was especially looking forward to making some new friends. He made his way into the room, hoping that he would not tumble over any furniture, since the packages were blocking his vision.
