Reid had slept quite well the night before. Well.. better than when he had previously been in the hotel, anyways. He liked music as much as the next guy, but this really wasn't ideal sleeping conditions. He thought that maybe he should entertain the idea of having sleepovers more often. The last ones were rather nice. He was probably going to go back there once again come nightfall or probably an hour or two before it. But now? He fancied a swim for the moment. He liked being in the water. So it was only a matter of time that he gave this a shot. He had spent about ten minutes in his room changing into just his shorts, then holding a towel draped around his neck. Reid had also carried an extra pair of shorts, jeans, and shirt; he'd want to change quickly if he wanted to go to another sleepover. He had been distracted during most of that preparation and actually found himself humming along to one of the music songs, until he caught himself and stopped, shaking his head at it. Seemed like it was nonstop so far.
He then began his way up to the roof. Once up there, he walked a bit to his right and walked past the chairs, heading toward the pool deck. He took the towel from his neck and spread it out. Laying it down by the ledge so that he could reach it at the moment he came back out. The clothes were casually set near the towel for easy access once he was done. Though that would not be for a while yet. After a pause, he jumped down into the water feet first and continued to sink lower so he could be underwater.. before coming back up and brushing wet blond hair from his eyes. "Ahh, much better," he said softly to himself, staying submerged just to his neck. He knew the music was still going on. He pushed up and moved on his backside, just on the surface of the water. Reid began doing what he liked best. He was swimming, doing the backstroke in the pool now. And once he had reached one side.. he switched and then moved forward, one arm after another. He had soon found himself ducking under a bit, submerged under and swam back to where he had started. This was good exercise indeed. He planned to do a few more laps again. But for now, he stood near the deeper area, water just near his neck and ears as he looked around to see if he was still the only one here.
