Hulk? That was a fitting name for this fellow, if ever he had heard one. Severus took a deep breath and lowered his wand to about waist height, so as to appear as nonthreatening as possible. Because if the roar was any indication at all, Hulk was angry, and Severus had no wish to go the way of that former building. But he had heard no one screaming, he realized belatedly, so Hulk had apparently not hurt anyone. Perhaps this was simply his way of letting off steam. God, he hoped that was the case.
Not all giants were bad, he reminded himself. Hagrid was harmless, after all, even if he was a bit thick and didn't know his own strength. Then again, Hagrid was only half-giant, and he certainly wasn't green. But he couldn't very well let this Hulk fellow go about smashing buildings if there happened to be someone inside. Severus swallowed, inhaling another deep breath through his nose to steel himself, and then licked his lips. "Hulk?" he asked quietly, raising his eyebrows. "Is that your name?"
