Elizabeth liked to think of herself as a very flexible person. While she did not agree with or like the idea that she had been forcibly ripped from her home in Port Royal - from everyone she knew and loved - without her consent, to be brought to this place to be, from what she understood, the subject of someone's experiments, there was something to be said about the adventure aspect of it. She had always spoken of leaving Port Royal, going on adventures. She suspected that was what had always fascinated her about pirate lore.
But when she'd been imagining what life would be like as a pirate, this was not exactly what she had had in mind.
But she was embracing it as well as she could in the hopes that, given time, they would be returned to their own timeframe or find an escape that would grant them that luxury, and then she could pass this off as the adventure that she had been searching for, go home and wait for Will Turner to finally work up the courage to ask her to marry him, and everything would be fine.
In the meantime, she had come to the conclusion that she needed better attire. She'd met a few other people in the... well, residence they'd been allotted who had directed her to this... 'mall' she believed they'd called it. She thought under normal circumstances she would have had to pay for the clothes she was now trying on, but these were hardly normal circumstances, and it wasn't as though she had any money to pay for them anyway.
She was humming to herself somewhat absently, not really paying attention to the way it continued to morph into 'this is the song that has no end' as she sorted through the racks of garments, looking for something she liked.
