"Good afternoon," Severus said with a nod, and a slight smile of his own, as Magius approached. At least his first pupil was to be a friendly face. Because Potter and Black might not have been old enough yet to summon full fledged Patronuses of their own. He didn't even want to think about attempting to teach those two. But no, he wouldn't have to worry about that, he didn't imagine. If anyone would sign of for Lupin's lessons, surely it would be them.
He cleared his throat a second later and nodded again. "As you've already seen Lily cast this spell, I don't think I need to demonstrate," he said then, trying to keep any hint of nerves from sounding in his voice. "I would assume that your form of magic has some sort of incantation attached to spells, even if they are not spoken aloud?" he asked then, raising his eyebrows. Because even if it had been a nonverbal spell, Magius had done a bit of concentrating in order to set off his spell. Perhaps it had been nothing more than gathering his will, but he didn't think it would hurt to ask before merely plodding ahead.
