Ariana shifted uneasily in her seat, shaking her head a little. She'd gone to bed last night, and she'd woken up this morning. She hadn't been anywhere else ... in between. "No," she protested quietly. "I went to bed last night, and ... I woke up this morning. I was in my bed the whole time," she assured him, blue eyes wide. She was confused, and now a little frightened. Had she slept for four days? Wasn't that impossible?
Had they taken her?
She glanced again to Didymus, but he had no reason to know if she'd been gone that long.
"My head's all buzzy again," she said in a desperate attempt to change the conversation. "So I have my magic back."
