RP: Too Much to Explain Characters: Lily, James, Sirius Time/Date: after this, September 6 Location: dining area/kitchen/lobby Warnings/Rating: Possible angst? Summary: James has perfect timing - as usual Status: complete
Lily didn't want to think what the sound of his voice meant. He sounded ... young. Before his voice had finally finished changing into the deeper range she was accustomed to hearing. She hoped it was simply the device's speakers that made his voice seem higher. Because she really wasn't sure what she'd do if he was ... in his younger teens. Before he'd grown into the man she loved instead of the boy who was simply too immature.
It would be like their sadist captors to do just that though, wouldn't it? To bring him in just that side of legal, young enough that he wasn't mature enough to be with her properly. The thought of it tightened her chest. In an uncharacteristic flush of bitterness, she wondered if they'd be bringing in Balthazar's lost love, too.
The timing was just ... wonderful though.
Pushing those thoughts aside, Lily made her way down to the kitchen area to wait for James -- and presumably Sirius -- to make their way down as well.
