He nodded at Master Chambers' reply, though he was glad he at last called the animal off. By now, Ambrosius was starting to tremble, and if that kept up, he might have a bout of motion sickness before the day was out.
Didymus had just been about to ask about people who had vanished himself, when Master Chambers beat him to it. So it appeared that he was needed here, in this realm, as well. He could only hope that Lady Sarah had gotten along well enough without him.
"One must take care with powers contrary to nature," Didymus agreed with a heavy nod. He hoped these magic users knew what they were doing and would not hurt anyone. He would hate to have to run them through.
