Jake, David, Didymus, open
"Oh, no," Jake said as he watched ... well, he wasn't really sure what it was ... approaching on the dog. "I'm just curious," he said. "Not a doctor."
Oy had stood up on four paws, backing up slightly as he lowered his head, swinging his long neck back and forth a little as he regarded the dog and its ... rider. He glanced up to Jake before the bumbler focused his gold-rimmed eyes on the newcomers. "'ey," he echoed before he edged forward to sniff curiously at the dog, his nose wrinkling slightly. "Oy," he said before he glanced up to Jake again.
Jake watched the interaction between the bumbler and the fox? Was that a fox? His brow furrowed a little, but he trusted that both his and Oy's reflexes were up to a challenge if the need arose.
"Um. I'm Jake Chambers, and that's Oy," he said with a nod to the bumbler. "He's a billy bumbler, from Mid-World," he explained, since people usually asked what he was.
