In Didymus's experience, answers were useless unless one knew the right questions to ask, and he wasn't certain just yet what the right questions were. How to find the edge of the Goblin King's illusion orb was the only one that really sprang to mind, but he imagined it would be far too easy if that answer were merely written within one of these books. Not much of a quest at all.
Still, Master Banner had hardly steered him wrong yet, so, with a nod, he dismounted, told Ambrosius to stay, and pulled a book off of one of the lower shelves. Several times, during flicking through the pages, he was tempted to ask what precisely they were looking for, but he closed his muzzle again shortly thereafter. Mayhap he was not the wisest knight in the realm, but if something looked like a suitable answer, he could always bring the passage to Master Banner's attention.
