RP: Clothing Delivery Service
Characters: Tyler, Reid
Time/Date: Backdated to August 13
Location: Reid's room
Warnings/Rating: shirtless Reid?
Summary: Tyler brings Reid clothes. Probably not as kinky as it sounds
Status: Complete

Tyler figured he and Reid were the same size-ish, give or take. Reid was taller than him, so Tyler factored that in when he snagged a pair of his sweats and a couple of shirts. It wasn't going to be the classiest thing Reid had ever worn, but it would do to keep him covered to get down to the mall to get new clothes.

Which made him wonder if the clothing was going to be given back or not. He couldn't imagine why anyone would want to keep it. Or burn it. Or toss it. But he wasn't even going to try to guess at the minds of these people.

It wasn't a very long walk across the hall to Reid's room, and he realized really that Reid could've probably scooted across the hall to pick out clothes of his own, but oh well. They could do that later if he wanted.

Shrugging, Tyler rapped on Reid's door so he could hand off the clothes and see the costume. He was really kind of interested in seeing the costume.

"Finally," Reid mumbled to himself when he heard the knock at his door. He was getting a bit annoyed at the talk between himself and Chase. Like about protesting too much. Okay, so sometimes his gaze tended to linger a bit longer than usual over the other swimmers, when he was on the swim team in Spencer. Though he was usually casual about it, no one should really have suspected much. Not that it mattered. Why be picky, anyway? Not that it was the other Son's business, especially since the guy caused so much damage back home. Oh, he'd rather not think of all this now. He needed some damn clothes.

He got off the bed when the knock rapped on the door, quickly opening it a second later, standing there wearing nothing but his blue boxers he had slept in the night before. "Hey, baby boy," Reid said with a slight smirk, using the usual nickname that those in their Sons of Ipswich circle had known him for. The blond looked at the clothes in Tyler's hand. Then nodded. "Better than nothing, I guess. Come in." He stepped back and turned, so his friend could follow into the room. There was really no clothes at all. Dressers all empty, as well as the closet.

Once he walked over to the bed, he pointed down at the outfit that was nicely laid out. Nice tight white top, green borders, the small skirt of green.. ohh, very ladylike. And probably slutty. "There.. see? That's the costume. Green Lantern. The hero, in brightest day, darkest night, no single partners shall escape my sight.. or.. however the comics motto goes, I don't know. The only thing I'd be able to wear. Unless I go as.. well, this now," he added, gesturing to the shorts he had on, "and walk around as I am. Or spend all day in the pool. Oh! You know what this place really needs? A hot tub. That would rock." Unless there was already one. If there was, he had not seen it.

"I could take them back if they're not good enough," Tyler shot back with a grin before he followed Reid into the room, trying to ignore the fact that Reid was barely dressed. How was this any different than them being in their suits? If anything, his boxers covered more than his suit ever had.

Still, his eyes roamed over the expanse of Reid's back and rear before he swung the door closed behind himself.

His eyes shifted to the costume when Reid pointed, and he shook his head. "I ... heard about some of them, but I don't think any of the guys got anything like this," he said as he picked it up and shook it out. It would have just been weird if Reid had even thought about wandering around in that.

"Think there is one," he replied as he set the costume down. "Up by the pool, kind of around the corner where you come out of the building," Tyler attempted to explain. "I didn't notice it for weeks, but it's pretty private." And hidden. Not that that had any reason to factor into his thinking, or anything.

"Did you ... watch the video?" he inquired. Mostly out of curiosity, but Jaime was going on about the heads being different at the end and if Reid had watched, he wanted to know who Reid had seen - or thought he'd seen.

"No, no, I'm sure they'll be fine," Reid said with a shrug. Not that he would mind if Tyler went back to get more. It wasn't like he was going to step out of the room himself just yet anyway. As he walked, he heard the door shut, and turned as he had waited for Tyler to walk over to him. "So.. you can imagine my surprise when I woke up to find this, and yet have everything else missing." He whistled, shaking his head. "I have to admit it's genius, wish I'd thought of a prank like that."

"That's interesting.. I'll remember that for later." Reid's eyes held amusement, and he smirked as well. Hot tub. By the pool. And hidden. Private, which was perfect for what he might have in mind for a later date. Though if he chose, he could go there right now. His shorts were just fine for that as well as sleeping in. Problem was.. once he'd leave the tub, he couldn't put on anything dry afterward.

Video? "What video?" REid was confused for a moment, looking distractedly at the costume, then back at Tyler. "No, I haven't seen a video. Well.. not yet, anyway. Should I see it? Maybe we can both see it."

Prank? Tyler was sure some of the others who'd had their clothing stolen didn't think of it as a prank ... though he could see how it could be taken that way. If the pranksters weren't kidnapping sadists, it'd be all for a laugh.

Tyler smirked a little when Reid said he'd remember for later. He was kind of curious who Reid would be attempting to lure up there, and tried to recall if anyone had mentioned Reid flirting with them. Not that he was jealous, or anything, because that'd just be dumb.

"On the network. It was this ... video of a lab, posted anonymously. There was a ... brain surgery or something going on, and at the end, there was a head floating in a jar. A sign saying 'this could be you'. It was just ... gross. So no, if you haven't already watched it, don't."

Well, posted anonymously, as in there was no name attached to it, but it had to be their captors posting it, he was sure.

Reid noticed the smirk which matched his own. "Who knows, maybe you may even manage to bring someone there sometime. That's what I plan to do, anyway." He thought it was good that there were some people that knew how his mind worked. Granted, it was occasionally a one track sort, but that was Reid. He'd probably see about checking it out later in the day. It would probably be good for him, if not just to relax, than to simply take his mind off some things. He liked distractions.

"Oh.. well, shit," he said with a sigh, nearly imagining what was in the video. It was best that he hadn't seen it or his thoughts would take a worse turn. But wait. Had.. had Tyler seen it? And if he had, were there dark dreams because of it? Reid stepped closer and asked as much. "That is some sick shit. No, there's no way I'll watch it now, so thanks for telling me. But.. you did? Or hopefully you know because someone else told you. You're fine though, right? I wish we know who's pulling that crap. Everything so far, and the video too, and... these costumes."

"Maybe," Tyler agreed. Protesting that there wasn't anyone here he'd want to take up there was both a lie and not something he wanted to say in front of Reid. Because if he said he wasn't interested in anyone - especially when he routinely hung out with two very pretty girls about his age - there'd be some questions. And Tyler didn't want to have to answer those questions.

"I saw it," he said. "Jaime watched a couple of other people's for them so they didn't have to and it wouldn't still be on their devices. It ... deleted itself after playing once." He did have to grin a little at Reid's concern. "I'm fine," he assured him.

"The kidnappers are behind it," he pointed out with a slightly elevated brow. Granted, 'the kidnappers' was vague. They did have names, after all, but that was about all they had.

So, Tyler did see it. Well.. at least he was fine. Had just said so, in fact, and he seemed to look it as well. That was good, Reid was worried for a moment. He was glad that they were both fine. "I'm glad I didn't watch it, then. Or I'd need some drinks. Glad you're fine."

The kidnappers. Oh, he hated that, hated them. He knew there was no escape. Though so far, Reid wasn't in mortal danger. Unless he tried going past the lines.... which he was not. "So it's for their amusement, then. You know, it was much better when I was the one pulling stuff. At least then it was better, and didn't involve danger at times."

He realized then that he was still wearing only his shorts, while standing near Tyler and speaking to him. He had momentarily forgotten about that due to the dangerous topic of freaky and scary videos. "Oh! Uhh, right.. I should probably try on those clothes you got me now, right?" He smirked then. Hopefully hey fit nicely. But if not, he could find a way to make it so anyway. "What should we do with that outfit, though? Maybe one of the girls want it."

Tyler nodded slightly, and he thought about offering to delete it off Reid's devices, but he figured eventually it would scroll off the front page and wouldn't be a worry. Besides, it might not be a horrible idea to have it saved on a couple of devices, in case they needed to see it somewhere later.

"Yeah, and then we always knew it was a joke," Tyler replied. This was starting to feel less and less like a joke every day.

He laughed softly in response to Reid's question. "Who knows? Save it for Halloween or something. Maybe someone will want it then." Or he could burn it. That was probably the way Tyler would go with it.

"And my jokes were always good," Reid said, nodding as he held the pants in his hands. Might as well try them on now. He could just as well stand here as he was, but he'd need these clothes in case he was venturing out sometime. The pool was sounding like a good idea though.

He chuckled at that then, turning his back to Tyler. "Could always give it to Chase as a present, although he said no already when I offered to loan it to him," he said as he crouched over, pulling the pants on then, and turning around to face his friend again. "Hmm.. only a bit shorter than what I wear normally. But it'll work for me just fine. Better than nothing, after all. And definitely a hell of a lot better than that costume." He laughed.

Tyler grinned. "Yeah. Your jokes were good," he agreed. This place, though, was becoming less and less of a joke the longer they stayed here.

He smirked when Reid mentioned giving Chase the dress, and he watched as Reid dressed. He didn't mean to, exactly; it just sort of happened. He wasn't really paying attention to where he was looking even as he watched Reid pull the pants on.

"It's ... something to wear out while you get more clothes," he pointed out. Which Tyler had thought was the point. "Something other than a dress, or your boxers."

Reid had to agree.. his jokes had definitely been good. But this was clearly no joke. Especially not those white lines. His jokes also never involved life and death type circumstances. Unless it was to an enemy. But in case like that, it really wouldn't be considered a joke in any case.

He was a bit oblivious to being watched, since his back his turned. Probably had a hunch of something, but just shrugged it off, ignoring it as was the usual case. He smiled once he turned around, holding the shirt. He laughed, "Oh, come on now.. nothing wrong with boxers. I happen to think I look great in them. Better that than a dress, anyway.."

He smirked, putting the shirt over his head and stretching his arms through it, then pulling it down on himself. "Hmm. A bit tight, maybe.. but it's alright. I like it. Thanks, Tyler. And to think, I woke up with barely anything, so.. thanks for this." Aside from the costume. But that didn't count. Not to Reid, at least.

"Any time," he agreed to Reid. But since he'd accomplished what he'd come here for and Reid probably didn't need his help picking out clothes, Tyler jabbed his thumb toward the door. "So I'll see you," he said to his friend, a grin on his lips.

"Good luck finding something better than a dress when you go shopping," he teased Reid. He ... really wasn't going to say anything about how Reid looked in boxers, because nothing good could come of any answer he managed to get out at that.

Instead, he headed toward the door.
