Tyler hit the 'send' button to put the message out on the network before he tailed Jaime to the kitchen to help get together the popcorn and Cokes. "I wonder if they were disappointed none of us made a run at the wolves," he began conversationally.
Jaime snorted, more amused than not. "I bet someone did and just ... didn't advertise it. Like Chase or one of the other macho idiots we've got here." She was occasionally less than thrilled by the ... severe lack of interaction from some people, but she supposed she couldn't expect everyone to band together. The three of them often batted around ideas for escape, and there were always reasons something or another wouldn't work ... but as they observed the place more, they hoped to get some idea of the patterns and how to eventually break free.
Granted, once they got out, there was still the fact they'd be displaced. Jaime was less distressed by this than some of them were. Lily had a war to get back to, and a fiance, and friends. Tyler had college and his brothers in arms - though at least one of them was here. Two, if one were to count Chase, which she knew he didn't. Jaime had the school, and acquaintances, but ... if she could at least get free of this place, she'd make her own way. Make new friends. Start a new life, but not as their captive.
Handing off two bowls to Tyler, she glanced to where Lily was arranging the game boards to prepare them for play, making sure the instructions were set on each board. She shook her head slightly before she hauled out a bucket and scooped some ice in it before adding a dozen cans of Coke and shuffling in more ice. Carrying that out, she set it down and flopped onto the couch. "So what're we playing, in case no one else comes down?"
"Risk looks interesting," Lily offered.
"Takes a long time," Tyler chipped in.
"So does Monopoly," Jaime volunteered. "But it's not like we've got anywhere to go, and if we get bored we can just declare me the winner."
Lily laughed softly and shrugged. "We could give it a few minutes. See who shows up."
"Fair enough," Jaime decided as she reached for the remote to the CD player to get some music started.
