As of right now, these are the characters who've started their own scary stories based on random prompts, and the locations those stories are taking place in. You can still request prompts to start your own stories over Here
★ Beartooth Point - Harry Potter
★ Cabins
★ Cottonwood Creek - Bobby Drake
★ Five Mile Creek - Poe Dameron
★ Hollow Oak Lookout - Maria Hill, Victoria Hand
★ Jonesy Lake - Rogue
★ Mule Point - Kamala Khan
★ Ruby River - Ruby River
★ Supply Drop - Alex Morales
★ Thorofare Basin
★ Thunder Canyon - M'Baku
★ Wapiti Meadow - Bruce Banner
There are other prompts available at these locations, or you can get your characters involved in these unfolding stories.
The stories can work a few different ways. I have ideas for the solution to each mystery but I want to leave it open for players to come up with their own possible reasons these strange things are happening.
They could be government conspiracies or cover-ups, they could be ghosts, people doing bad things, they could be mind tricks or even aliens.
If you want to know the solution I had in mind for your story, you can ping me on Discord (Grantaire), or if you want to talk about what you'd like to do you can ping me there too. But the point is, more or less, for you to come up with your own campfire story to play through with your characters and the people you involve.
If you have any questions about this, hit me up!
UPSIDE DOWN/DISAPPEARANCES
The disappearances will begin tomorrow morning. Characters who have requested prompts are immune to disappearances (FOR NOW!) so they can develop their stories a little more before they go. Two monsters have been selected from the people who've volunteered their characters. More will be added later on.
Only the people in any particular cabin will notice the disappearance happens. There will be no announcement, and at first they may not realise it's a reason to panic or that some kind of monster is responsible. The "Disappeared" can contact Romeo through means of divination immediately. And they can leave a comment in the Upsidedown section of the Prompt Post to be told what they need to do to find their way home.
When the first "Disappeared" returns, they can explain to their peers that some kind of strange beast-like creature dragged them into the ground. For people who haven't seen Stranger Things. The Upside Down looks the same as the camp does, but scary.
Another way to describe it would be like - The Silent Hill films are shot right where I grew up. So here is a picture of the locations as it looks IRL and as they looked in the Silent Hill movie:
