If there were any sarcastic, sharp edges to Obi-Wan's remark, they were well hidden under the even, soft tonality of his words. But he was quite sure Bail would pick up on his uneasiness, all the same. After all, what were the Clone Wars is not a large negotiation failure between the Jedi, the Galactic Senate and the Trade Federation?
Regardless, he wanted to help and certainly there had to be some way to buy themselves time, re-route or otherwise solve this unexpected problem. And, if nothing else, he had a few fairly reliable Jedi tricks (of the 'mind' variety) up his sleeve that he could utilize if need be.
Obi-Wan reached out and placed his hand on Bail's forearm, giving it a light squeeze. "I'm sure we'll have this sorted in no time."
