Hearing the knock on the door, Vic discarded the computer like device on her bed which thankfully was fairly comfortable and made her way to the door. Opening it just a crack, she was glad to see that it was Jasper there and not anyone unexpected. Fully opening it, she raised an eyebrow at the crutch but didn't say anything about it. It seemed that both of them had a lot to talk about. Still, it was good to see him here. It might not have been long for her but it was still a relief to have a friend here.
"Excuse the sentimentality for a moment but it is wonderful to see you again. I didn't think I would - any of you - get the opportunity," she replied closing the door behind her. "Sorry there isn't much in the way of furniture in here but make yourself comfortable. I found some glasses thankfully," she added indicating the two she had set out on the desk.
So much had changed and she doubted things would ever be the same. She was sensible enough to realise that. Even disregarding the kidnapping, to much had happened to change them. With the kidnapping - and who knew how long Sitwell had been here - factored in there was just too many unknown variables to factor in to change who they were. Maybe fundamentally they would be the same but experiences shaped who they were and that was what she didn't know.
