"I do feel a little weird about it." He'd tighten his grip on Bucky's hand and shake his head. He wasn't sure how their conversation had eventually unraveled their defenses the way that it had. Maybe Steve being gone opened up wounds that let unspoken fears and emotions bleed out. He wasn't sure, and he didn't know what he could say or do about it now to make Bucky understand what he was thinking, but he had to try. "It was a lot, I didn't expect to -- say as much as I said or --"
Feel was a word Tony couldn't bring himself to say right now. Their world was just less interesting now that there were other people in it.
"I don't know what that was last night." He'd murmur. "But I don't want one night to be -- to be all that either of us get to say to each other. I know you had to leave this morning to get to your Hotel workout but -- if you're not busy tonight maybe we could -- Maybe we could talk more?"
