[Milly]
I have complicated feelings about it, right? My powers made me different, they gave me the ability to help other people and -- I know I can still help people and do things now, but I feel clumsy and insecure because I'm missing those abilities.
My grandfather believes that mutations, these gifts, that they're a mark of superiority over people, but that comes from a place of former oppression. Back in my world, people with abilities like mine are sometimes feared, hunted and killed. Loki my [...] friend, he's also from a race that kind of thinks they're above humans and I think for them being without these abilities makes them feel human. For Loki, that makes him feel lesser. For my grandfather, I think it lines him up with the people who oppressed him for so long in a way that makes him -- rightfully-- pretty angry.
