Jessica opened her door already knowing who was on the other side; that was the advantage of a vampire's sense of smell; everyone had their own scent, their own heart rhythm and way of breathing. Dick stuck out for more than just his high-end model good looks- he had one of the most unique scents she'd ever encountered on a human. She couldn't put her finger on it, but it wasn't unpleasant. And he was fun to be around.
"Hey you, come'on in," Jessica drawled, grinning in welcome, wide and friendly- no fangs since she'd already grabbed a bag when she first woke up.
