Who: OPEN TO ALL (Primarily Court of Miracles / Police / University Students / JUST THE FACTS The execution of the dancer Esmeralda was interrupted by the intervention of Quasimodo who stole her away and declared sanctuary in the Cathedral, but she can't stay there forever. More, the revelation that an invisible man, Griffin, had been committing crimes in the area throw significant doubt on whether the condemned woman is even guilty. Forces within the Court of Miracles and their would-be bohemian allies in the University have hatched a plan to get her out of the Cathedral, out of the city, and to freedom. At the same time, Claude Frollo, still intoxicated and tempted by the beautiful woman so close, has conspired with the King and the City Police to take her from the Cathedral by force. Unfortunately, both groups arrive at the same time. OOC Note: Changing from the plot calendar which executes Esmeralda tomorrow, the fate of Esmeralda will be dependent on which side tags in more. Students & Court of Miracles folk count for saving her, Police & Church folk count for condemning her (Unless they're clearly acting for the other side) Injury rolls on a scale of 0-8 are available and can be from direct conflict with the opposing side, architectural damage or things falling off the side of the cathedral, crush damage, or anything else that works for you. If you are interested in this, comment with the range of injuries you are comfortable with and we'll RNG up injuries for you. 0 - no injuries 1 - minor cuts 2 - major cuts 3 - limb injury 4 - broken bone 5 - internal injury 6 - permanent injury 7 - lifethreatening injury 8 - death |
