Matt recognised that sigh in any shape and form, and he lowered his head again as the voice moved from in front of him over somewhere to the side. Unzipping his bag, he emptied out the contents onto the floor. There was a slightly more than half full canteen, some sort of thin waterproof sleeping bag cover, and a metal piece of gear used for climbing. The latter weren't of much use to him - he could just sleep anywhere and normally he could climb without any equipment - but he figured the water was a precious enough commodity that anyone would want.
"It's okay you know," he tried to reassure Rocket with a stupid smile. "Where I come from, it's- I mean, worldly possessions - fighting over them. Kind of frowned upon."
