Re: Lunch
She smirks at the eyebrow raise and neatly crosses her ankles. It's kinda cute. "Mi familia es Cubano. Español es más fácil," she winks. "But, you know, bilingual house - trilingual if you count Yiddish, which my granny would - so I'm cheating."
Audrey pauses a little at his question and pokes at her food. "Which one?" she asks. "I wasn't the target, really, my friend Emma was. I was just the fall-guy, an easy scapegoat. The first killer was her half-sister. It all went back to their mother and the killer's father who had this teenage love affair. Then when the first killer died, her boyfriend came for revenge. And the last one was just some crazy fanboy who thought he and Emma were soul mates and that getting the rest of us survivors out of the way would convince her to be with him forever. I strongly suspect Emma's father is both the original killer from twenty years ago and the fourth killer waiting for me back home, though."
