Audrey's brows furrowed for a moment as she tried to figure out what Betty was talking about. It took her a moment, but then she remembered Zoƫ and something she had said that weird, sort of awful night of Kieran's surprise party. Hindsight only made it worse, but somewhere in the haze, some stupid thing clung to the back of her memory. Your energy...
She scrubbed a hand across her face, then back through her hair. Her nervous tics were ticking a little more frequently than usual right now. "Okay," Audrey said. "I'm open to that. I mean, it's always the logical solution to annoying love triangles in fiction, so why shouldn't we give it a go here? I'm sure it's a lot more complicated than that, there are things to work out, dynamics to balance, but I don't see why not. Just, uh..." She tipped her head to the side and rubbed the back of her neck, "I'm cool with however the arrangement lands, so it's your call. You call the shots here."
That was fair, wasn't it? Like she said, she was the one who was interloping on this situation and Betty was the one who should have the say in how it played out from here. If she was willing to make this concession, the Audrey wasn't about to try to take control from her. She was good with whatever happened here and if it meant that, even if it was tenuous for a while, she got to keep Juggy, she would eagerly go along with all of it.
