Given what you said during discussions about the constitution though, I have to tell you. You're probably a lot more likely to agree with the message behind Hydra's organization than anyone else here, and you may want to keep that, and what I'm telling you, to yourself.
I agree with you. I agree with everything you're saying about central power. I believe that that's not only the way to govern these "specimens" but it might also give us the upper hand in demanding release or compensation from the scientists, as well as keeping tabs on our own. That kind of power, that kind of focus - that's what Hydra used to be about. So you can see, now, I think, why people feel so strongly opposed to them.
Add to that, of course, that Hydra was, once, a great Empire that fell to ruin, they tried to regain power during the war we're not in the middle of, but allied with some very corrupt, very dangerous people which essentially tainted the original goals of the Empire.
