DECEMBER 16TH IS THE
HOGWARTS WINTER BALL!
Professor Dumbledore makes an announcement at breakfast on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9TH. His proclamation includes (but is not limited to) the following:
- The ball will begin at 7PM and will go on until midnight. At that time, students are expected to go back to their common rooms immediately.
- Attendance is not mandatory, though students from all year groups are welcome to join in the festivities.
- Dress robes or other appropriate formal attire is required for those who choose to attend.
- The faculty will be supervising the event, so students are expected to be on their best behaviour.
- Any student who is caught breaching these rules will be issued detention (to be served after the break) and/or have house points deducted.
The musical guest is announced to be The Bones Brothers, who will play from 9PM until 10:30PM.
So have fun, go wild, and get yourselves some dates! Or be a rebel/pathetic loser and go stag. Or as a group!
Most important is to show up in your gladrags and have fun. :)

On the night of the ball, the mods will post a thread in the RP community for people to tag. Likewise, you're more than welcome to write your own things in separate threads. There will be a tag created for this purpose and, if you require more information regarding the ball and/or its set-up, please don't hesitate to contact a mod!
