►The outcome/score of this match was determined before game start by random dice rolls.

►Slytherin scored six goals overall.
Septimus Warrington scored the first goal of the match, and then proceeded to score twice more. Demetrius Wilkes also scored thrice, whilst Claudius Selwyn was goalless.

►Gryffindor scored thirteen goals overall.
James Potter scored seven times. Siobhan O'Callaghan scored four goals, and Rhys Perkins scored once. Substitute Grace Prewett also scored once.

►The match lasted seven hours and fifty-four minutes. Conditions were difficult, with torrential rain and blustering winds lasting the entirety of the game.

►
Claudius Selwyn was the first to snatch the Quaffle from the initial scrummage. He instantly shot towards the Gryffindor goalposts, his fellow Chasers backing him up the entire stretch of the field. Despite the combined efforts of Siobhan O'Callaghan and Rhys Perkins, Selwyn was able to offload the Quaffle to teammate Septimus Warrington, who successfully managed shoot past Keeper Alice Vaisey and add the first points to the scoreboard after only two minutes.

►Gryffindor weren't far behind in terms of scoring. Just three minutes after the Slytherins first added to the scoreboard, Lions captain
James Potter was able to level the score with a rather impressive display that had him shoot from just over the half-way point of the pitch.

►Despite the Lions gaining an early lead, Chasers from both teams were on top form.
Demetrius Wilkes managed to successfully dodge a skilfully aimed Bludger from Connor Edwards in order to score the second goal of the match for the Snakes, bringing the score to fifty-twenty to Gryffindor as the clock signalled the first hour mark.

►A close call came during the sixty-sixth minute when the Gryffindor stands erupted at the sight of
Florence Morrison pulling out of a dive. Sure that the Lions had caught the Snitch, supporters sporting red and gold began loudly singing a victory song which, rather fortunately, was mostly swallowed by the wind. After conformation from Madame Hooch that the Snitch had not been caught, the game resumed with both the Gryffindor and Slytherin supporters hopeful once more.

►A rather obvious foul occurred during the eighty-third minute.
Claudius Selwyn, after trying and failing to intercept the Quaffle from James Potter, committed the offence of blagging (or intentionally grabbing onto another player's broom tail). Hooch called a time out before Potter came forwards to take the penalty shot. Unfortunately for the Lions, Keeper Knox Fentress was at the height of his game and was able to save and thus the score remained the same.

►With the score at seventy-thirty to the Lions just shy of the three hour mark,
Regulus Black was seen hurtling towards the Gryffindor end of the pitch. Upon spotting the lone green-clad figure, Robert Myles successfully halted him with a Bludger to the face, which resulted in a bloody nose for Black. Eager to resume play, the Slytherin Seeker assured Madame Pomfrey that he was okay to continue once his nose had been fixed and the game continued.

►By the fifth hour of play and still no sign of the Snitch, tensions were running extremely high in the Slytherin camp. So much so that
Casper Rosier decided to take matters into his own hands, forcibly ramming into Rhys Perkins and throwing the younger boy from his broom. Most unfortunate for Perkins, Rosier's fellow Beater Darius Parkinson chose that moment to aim a Bludger at the injured boy as he fell through the air. A penalty was given (unsuccessfully taken by Siobhan O'Callaghan once play resumed) and, under orders from Madame Pomfrey, Perkins was benched and substitute Grace Prewett took his place for the remainder of the match.

►A tangled mess of confusion occurred near the Slytherin goalposts at one point, as
Casper Rosier aimed a Bludger at opposing Beater Connor Edwards. The Gryffindor, taken by surprise at the attack, unintentionally collided with Knox Fentress and the two lost altitude as they became entangled. Luckily for both teams, the Slytherin Keeper and the Gryffindor Beater were unharmed and no penalties were given.

►The collective efforts of both
Grace Prewett and Robert Myles managed to halt Septimus Warrington from adding any more points to the scoreboard. Not ten minutes later, the pair of Gryffindors managed the same feat with Warrington's fellow Chaser Demetrius Wilkes, in what proved to be both an amusing and relieving sight for the Gryffindor supporters.

►It was clear by the latter half of the match that the Slytherin team were desperate for a win. Despite several fouls already being called, that didn't stop
Darius Parkinson from committing yet another as the clock signalled the sixth hour of play. Upon seeing that the Quaffle was in his team's possession, he flew directly at Alice Vaisey and collided with her, enabling the Snakes to add another ten points to the scoreboard. The goal wasn't given however, as Hooch had seen the entire spectacle and promptly issued a stern warning to the Slytherin captain to keep his team in line lest he wish to forfeit the game.

►Finally the game drew to a close as
Regulus Black caught sight of the Snitch near the Slytherin goalposts. Hot on his tail, Florence Morrison put up a strong fight but Black was simply too fast for her, resulting in a win for the Snakes.
