Elizabeth was feeling rather relaxed as she sat in the library. Actually, she had been rather relaxed all week. Sure, there were still some few fleeting worries that would enter her mind, but it was almost as if as soon as they had entered, they had disappeared. It was rather strange, especially considering everything that had happened earlier in the week. The rumour about the Dark Lord making a visit to Hogsmeade had concerned her at first, however, after thinking on it, it had seemed impossible. Sure, she couldn't really talk because she was a Pureblood, and even if it had been You-Know-Who, it wouldn't have meant that she was in danger. However, in many ways, she understood the student body's concerns, and she had actually grown a little worried for some of them. Luckily, Dumbledore had confirmed her suspicions rather quickly, which meant that she didn't have to worry about it for an extended amount of time. And, even though there were a few of her father's letters still laid unopened in the bottom of her trunk, and despite that fact she hadn't heard from Emmeline in a while, she felt a weird sort of calmness. It was extremely strange especially because these days Elizabeth had become a worry wart. And, at the same time of lapping up the calmness, there was almost an underlying feeling of dread, one that was similar to an eye before the storm - only something particularly dreadful had to be approaching. Nevertheless, here she sat, rather content with getting her homework done.

After taking in the library and the calmness it always offered, she decided to get up from her seat and gather the books she would need to complete her current assignments. There was a fair few of them, and Elizabeth was determined to get some of it - if not all of it done - tonight. After running her fingers down the spines of a few books, in search for the perfect ones, she started to create a rather impressive pile of sources. Cradling them all in her arms, she headed back to the desk she had picked out, one that was rather secluded which assured her no one would bother or pest her. However, she caught something in the corner of her eye. She concentrated on the spot a little harder, thinking it was one of her housemates, Francesca, as she continued her pace straight forward. However, quickly she was pulled out of her own thoughts as she hit someone. The books fell out of her arms and she let out a slight cry of pain when a rather large and heavy book hit her foot. Flustered and embarrassed, she immediately began to gather the books up as she crouched down. "I am so sorry," she said quickly, concentrating on the ground, rather than the person she had basically knocked out. She was about to continued her line of thought before she looked at her victim. A wave of reassurance spread over her as she realised it was a friend. Well, someone she liked to consider a friend. "Lily! I'm so sorry," she exclaimed, forcing a hesitant smile on her lips.
