Charlotte wasn't usually a clumsy sort of person. In fact, she considered herself to be rather graceful the majority of the time. So long as her feet were n the ground, she usually had no problem. Except when a certain poltergeist deemed it amusing to mess with her. After class was over, Charlotte was on her way to the library. There were a few books that she needed to return in exchange for several new ones, their homework load having increased from last year. Naturally she was taking it all in her stride, despite the fact that there wasn't much time to do things that weren't homework-related any more. She did what she could though, ploughing on with hopes that things would ease off eventually. She hadn't anticipated being held up though, especially not in the way that Peeves had planned.
Nothing seemed particularly out of the ordinary. Charlotte was walking down the corridor with her books cradled in her arms, minding her own business none the less, when she felt something extremely cold fall on her head. A moment later and the icy water was dripping down her back as she let out something of a strangled cry, her head tilting back as she searched for the source. The only thing was was met with was another balloon of water as the poltergeist cackled before zooming away, leaving Charlotte utterly speechless and stood in a puddle of water, everything from her hair to the books in her arms completely sodden. As if that wasn't bad enough, she felt herself slip as soon as she moved, a small whimper coming from her as she landed awkwardly on the floor. Instead of getting up right away, the Gryffindor moved a hand up to her face and wiped away any stray droplets before sighing heavily to herself. She really hoped that nobody had seen that.
