Who: Laura and Sirius
What: Run in in the Library
When: Thursday, 2nd September, around 11am
Where: The Library
Rating: Low
Status: Incomplete

Free periods were annoying. Such a waste of time. Laura was still deeply dissatisfied she hadn´t managed to make her schedule fuller, but she wasn´t going to take Divination just to not have a free period.

Having nothing better to do, she took her copy of Daily Prophet that she hadn´t had time to read during breakfast and brought it to the Library. Finding a free table there, she made herself comfortable and spread the newspaper over the desk. It was only then that she began to worry what she could possibly find in there.

Sirius was surprised himself at him being inside the library during a free period. Surely he should be off creating havoc or amusing himself somehow but instead he was here, flipping through a ridiculously large textbook and wondering why his Muggle Studies homework couldn't just do itself.

Yawning, he flipped the book closed and headed back to the bookshelves, wondering what the chances were of him finding a picture book containing everything he needed to know.

As he moved through the tables, most occupied by students either doing their homework or avoiding it, he noticed that Ravenclaw girl - Lisa? Some L name - with the Prophet spread out in front of her. He paused to move past and couldn't help glancing down, hoping there wasn't any more deaths being reported.

"Ooh, is that something about The Boggarts?" he instead asked, leaning over the side of the table to better see the small article on his favourite wizarding band.

Startled a little, Laura looked up from the Prophet to see Sirius Black leaning over her. "Hi," she said, in an attempt to make him realize that he completely forgot to greet her in any way. "Yes, I think so," she nodded then, leaning slightly back to let him look at the article. She was not particularly interested in it herself, but she hadn´t been doing anything too productive so the distraction was not bothering her.

"Hi," he said, turning to smile at her as he pulled a chair up to her table. "Sorry that was rude. But nice to have something in the Prophet that's not all death and war."

Laura nodded, agreeing with both his statements, but commenting only on the second one: "Yeah. We need a break from all... all that."
