"Uh-huh. It's crazy I know," she agreed, noting his tone when he asked about what computers could do now, "And there's this thing called the internet where you can get all sorts of information. Some of it more reliable than others, but it's pretty handy for school. And you can use it to talk to people who live pretty much anywhere as long as they have an internet connection," she added, filling him in more on what computers could do.
"Well, think about it... what was technology like in 1950 and what is it like for you? There's gotta be some things that have changed in a big way, right?" Rory questioned. "Music changed from Record to 8-track, you couldn't even get movies on video... colour T.V."
She frowned, thinking. Her mom would be so worried about her by now... but if it was after 9 already, what were the odds they'd find there way out in time for the last bus back to Stars Hallow? "I vote hang out and stay here for the night. No way am I going to be able to get home from Hartford even if I make it out of this place," she sighed.
