Letter to Andromeda Tonks
The next letter Sirius must pen is to Meda. This one is harder somehow. He thinks she'll eventually come around but before she does, she is going to be a terror.
Meda,
I'm not sure how to say this but I think it is only fair that you hear it from me and not from reading the Daily Prophet. Remus and I were interviewed by Rita Skeeter this afternoon. We told her about our relationship. We also told her that Remus is a werewolf.
Meda, you've been around Remus enough to see that he is a danger to no one. He is a sweet, gentle man who has a disease. A horrible, incurable disease. I know thiss will come as a shock but I know you like Remus. He is still Remus. You know as well as I do that pureblood prejudices are load of shite. I hope you can see that here as well.
Remus has never bitten anyone or come even close. He takes great care to ensure he is not a danger.
You are my closest, my last real family. Surely you can see now why I've taken up this cause. Think Meda, if it were Dora, what would you do?
Please don't shut me out because of this. I love him, Meda. He can't help what he is.
