"Rude. So rude," he said with an amused shake of his head. Not that he wanted Tracey to feel the need to impress him. Considering his brother-like status with Clint (that seemed to have an oddly incestuous tone to it if one stuck with the brother comparison), Tracey was practically a cousin. A cousin who would have been disowned had she been an actual family member of his, but she wasn't so...there she was. Weird pseudo-cousin Tracey Davis. Half blood. With a mostly bad attitude. Well, at least she was never dull. When she said she'd look her best next time, he gave a small nod. "Good. Then I suppose I'll suffer the hit to my reputation for this time."
He listened to her as she spoke, unable to stop the small laugh that came when she said her work was boring stuff that he didn't care about. She was incredibly right in that regard and he was glad she was aware The part about broom charms piqued his interest however, though he was always a bit wary when it came to new products. "Well, I'd be willing to test them but... I won't buy any until I know they're even worth it," he answered with a shrug. Honestly, the last thing he wanted to be talking about was his job at the moment. Well, maybe not the last thing but it was pretty far down there, anyway. "Come on, surely you have more interesting things happening in your life than job related shite? Read any good books lately or anything?" Not that Marcus read all that often but...whatever. He was shite at small talk. His small talk usually consisted of 'you'd look much better without that shirt'...but that wasn't really an option with Tracey.
