"Why? There's no one at this table I'm trying to impress." Marcus felt like another cousin to her. A really smug, annoying one who she rolled her eyes at.. well, pretty much the exact same way she felt about Clint. Considering they were one in the same, that didn't surprise her too much. "But the next time we go out I promise to look my very, very best," she said with a smile.
Shrugging her tiny shoulders, Tracey thought about how to answer him. She was surprisingly fine. Her life was boring and dull, but it wasn't really all that bad. And it turned out she didn't miss the money as much as she thought she would. The only thing she really and truly missed was her father. "I work a lot. Boring charm stuff that you don't care much about, but I know someone in my department is working on some new broom charms for speed or something. If you buy the first round I'll pass along his name so you get to test them first." The entire reason she wanted to spend time with Marcus was so she didn't have to think about the people who weren't spending time with her. She figured they could joke around and relax and she wouldn't have to worry about who she was. Because, surely he still thought of her as Clint's little cousin and that much hadn't changed.
