Tracey had to wait for a sale before purchasing a new winter cloak. A sale. She'd never had to worry about saving her money before and now she was popping to a shop known for their inexpensive clothing to buy a cloak at thirty percent off the regular price. It wasn't the quality she was use to, nor was it going to turn any heads. But, she reminded herself, it was time to be practical and the cloak would keep her warm during the next few months.
With a bag in her hand and her mind set on coffee, Tracey scurried towards her favorite cafe. Being small had its advantages and she could scoot around people and fit into tiny gaps in the crowd easily. By the time she made it to the cafe, Tracey was pink cheeked from the chilly day.
And then, of course, she spotted Blaise. A scowl crossed her face and she debating just leaving right then and there. Breaking up had been one thing. They were both busy and had their careers to focus on. But the way he'd treated her since the news came out about her purity.. Tracey hated him for it. She didn't expect her friends to accept what she was, but Blaise.. Blaise she expected more from. She expected him to look past her unfortunate circumstances, but of course he couldn't do that.
She could've left, but she wanted her damn coffee. And, given that she was more than a little feisty at times, Tracey wasn't going to let some giant ass get in the way of her coffee. Marching up to him, Tracey tapped his shoulder. "You're in my way. Move."
