Adrian was a little distracted after his conversation with Daphne. That was quickly becoming the norm for him, it seemed. Maybe that's why he enjoyed her company so much. When he left most woman he felt accomplished. When he left her? He just wanted more. Shaking those thoughts from his head, before he could get himself into trouble, and started to head for Ria. He wasn't entirely pleased with strange people being in his house, but he figured she was alright. That, of course, didn't mean he wasn't going to be nosy.
Coming up beside her, Adrian dropped an arm around her shoulders and placed a light kiss to the top of her head. "Glad you could make it, Short stuff," he grinned, wiggling his eyebrows playfully at her. "Didn't know you were bringing a friend, though." No one had ever accused him of being tactful, he supposed.
Astoria, for her part, smirked up at him when he dropped an arm around her shoulder. Despite any past history between the two of them, they were nothing more than friends. He never seemed to mind when she turned into crazy Ria. He always seemed to handle it calmly and then laugh at her when she, herself, calmed down.
"Oh," she grinned, shooting a smirk to Emma, "this is my friend, Emma. She doesn't play poker, but I dragged her along for the fun. Emma, Adrian Pucey."
