RATING: Lowish.
STATUS: In Progress.
It was true, since Fleur had arrived in London only about two weeks ago, she had already made a spectacle of herself. Her name was splashed all over the prophet, her ex-husband had married some whore that was far too young for him, and she had single handedly made Roger's life a lot more difficult than necessary. She didn't want to make things hard for him, but he was so nice to her and she didn't have many friends. It wasn't her fault that people were so naturally drawn to her. Even when she tried her hardest to stay out of the spotlight, something would throw her right back in. People wanted to be around her, but sometimes it made her insecure knowing that people only truly liked her because of her looks. She pretended that she was fine, it was embarassing to be so unhappy, but the truth was she was just lonely.
In fact, she was headed over to Roger's place to talk to him about that. He was a popular guy, very outgoing, people generally liked him. He had to have some sort of advice on how she could make more friends. He had to have some take on the matter. Frankly, she would've went to someone else if she could but she didn't have anyone here. Her own sister was in France and it broke her heart. She had come back to London to look for something, she wasn't even sure what it was but she knew that there had to be more to her life than a failed marriage and several people hating her. She wanted a family, kids, to be happy. It made her jealous to think that Bill might have that before her. He broke her heart and now she was left picking up the pieces and making a fool of herself while doing it.
Pulling herself up from her couch, she charmed her hair up into a messy bun. She was wearing simple gray sweatpants that hung low on her hips, a white tank top, and a black sweater over it. The ensemble covered most of her, and while she usually didn't go out of the house in such a get up, she decided to leave it on would probably be better. Every time she saw Roger, she tried ridiculously hard not to attempt to doll herself up. She liked him as a friend a lot and there was no way she wanted to ruin that or his relationship with uhm? Was her name Mandy? They seemed happy, though Fleur was certain Mandy probably hated her with how many times the two appeared in the Propher together.
Shrugging, Fleur grabbed her wand and stepped out of her home. She apparated to Roger's and approached the door, brushing off her pants. Hesitantly she knocked, hoping that it would be him that answered. She really should've owled him first or something. What if he wasn't even home?
