This was ridiculous. There was a horrible, terrible chance that Roger and Mandy had heard her through the walls and if she’d had her wand, Penny would have tried to open the ground beneath her with a spell, any spell. How the hell was she going to be able to look her friend in the eye for the rest of her life? The charms had better bloody be working or Will was a dead man.
With a sigh at her own idiocy, Penny pulled back the covers and slid out the bed. It wasn’t her nudity she was concerned with ; living in France with Aveline had cured her of that most British pastime of shyness, padding across the room she picked up her knickers and pulled them on, running her tongue along her teeth and fuzzy feeling on them echoing the same in her head. Thank merlin for freshening charms and as she cast one, Penny rooted around for her dress and heels which were far from suitable. If she wore them home, anyone who took one look at her would know she was doing a walk of shame. Will was dressed again which frankly, was a damn shame since she now knew that the body he was hiding under the t-shirt. “You don’t have to put a shirt on for me Will, as you said its not something I haven’t seen before.” He was almost good looking enough to have her thinking about a second round but..no, that would be sheer madness. Tempting but insanity.
Penny was in the process of pulling Wills bed together, wanting to leave it as smooth as when she’d first - probably - tumbled it into it when Will commented about Mandy and she turned away from the door and glared at Will. Giving him her best glare, it seemed for the moment that Penny wasn’t focused on the fact that she was wearing nothing more than a pair of lace knickers and more focused on making Will squirm. “William,” she warned in her Head Girl tone “You will do no such thing because I do not wish for Roger to kill either of us. I will however require three items from you; a pair of shorts, a t-shirt and a pair of running shoes so that if anyone sees me I can claim to be running. And yes, I will be sneaking out that window after getting you to promise that we will never, ever talk about what happened here again.”
Tilting her head, she looked around and began trying to assemble where her belongings were. “Right?”
