"I'm sorry," she said, biting her bottom lip. "Just had a lot on my mind and haven't been feeling well..." Like he didn't know all of that but she wasn't so sure she wanted to explain exactly what it was on her mind. It wasn't like she could just tell him that she might be pregnant and he'd be okay with that. It was easier to blame work and push it off on that. She hated lying to him and this was something she wouldn't be able to hide for long if she was. Sighing, she wanted to cry with frustration. Instead, she gave him a smile, though, it didn't quite meet her eyes. "You know how much I enjoy thinking."
It always warmed her heart when he told her he loved her. She wasn't sure why but it just made her so happy inside. "I love you, too," she murmured, sliding her arms tightly around his neck, just wanting to be close to him. If he'd just take her home and let her curl up next to him... that'd be lovely. Perfectly and wonderfully lovely.
"It's not exactly like I have a track record of being able to say no to you for too long," she said, returning his kiss. Mandy had a hard time saying no to him when he wanted to spend time with her. It wasn't like she didn't want to spend time with him. She just preferred it in a more intimate setting that didn't involve a lot of people standing around and staring at them.
